Can I really check Instagram unfollowers without logging in?

Yes. Ghosted uses Instagram's official data export feature — you download your own data from Instagram and upload those files to Ghosted. No password, no API access, no login of any kind.

Why don't other unfollower apps work this way?

Because it requires a small extra step from you — requesting the export from Instagram. Most apps prefer to ask for your login because it's "easier" for them, even though it puts your account at serious risk.

Can Instagram ban me for using Ghosted?

No. Ghosted never logs into your Instagram account and never uses the Instagram API. You're just using Instagram's own data export feature, which is 100% allowed.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere. Your JSON files are read directly by your browser and never sent to any server. Close the tab and the data is gone — we literally have no way to access it.

Is the no-login version actually free?
